Tom Haniff is a composer and producer based in London UK,  focusing on soundtracks for visual media.

Tom's repertoire covers multiple styles from experimental soundscapes to minimalism, traditional orchestral music, electronic music, and action scores. What unites this music is a strong focus on emotional identity, with the aim of bringing out the true spirit behind each project, and heightening the sense of immersion within the project's particular world.

Tom studied Music and Composition at the University of Bristol. He also holds a Masters degree from the University of Cambridge specialising in Music Psychology, conducting experiments on the way audiences' emotional reactions are mediated by the presence of film, music, and narrative context.

Aside from composition, Tom is a piano, keyboard and trumpet player. He has played with bands at venues including the O2 Islington main stage, and has played trumpet in many big band jazz charts including concerts at the Barbican Centre. Tom has also sung a wide range of choral works with the Bristol University Singers and the chapel choir of Robinson College Cambridge, appearing on the former's commercial CD recording Gratia Plena.
